Over two days you will visit the best dive and snorkel sites within the Whitsunday Islands. Sail in blue tropical waters, relax on the beautiful white sands of Whitehaven Beach, chill out or sunbake on the large front decks and socialise with our other guests.

Wings features all the luxuries you could expect from an ultra modern, purpose-built cruising catamaran. With large comfortable single or double beds, air-conditioning throughout the vessel which is a key feature when sailing in the tropical climates of the Whitsunday Islands.

It also has a surround sound music system perfect for listening to your favourite music as you sail around the Whitsunday Islands and a 62-inch plasma screen TV for nightly slideshows and movies.

This is a social diving tour with 26 guests on board, it's fantastic for certified divers and passengers who would like to try Scuba diving. There are four professional, friendly crew on board to give guests a fun safe sail/dive adventure. This award winning tour is a major highlight for anyone visiting the Whitsunday Islands.

Additional Information

Day 1: Depart Airlie Beach at 12 noon

You will be greeted by our Wings crew and invited on board where lunch will be served. Once you've been orientated around the vessel relax and take in the scenery as you sail to your first dive and snorkel location. As you head to one of the northern islands of the Whitsunday Islands you will cross Whitsunday Passage and pass the Mole group of islands before arriving at Hook or Hayman Island.

After the snorkeling and diving has finished its back on board for a cold beer and some sunset snacks whilst you cruise to your overnight anchorage. After diner the crew will invite you to view an eco slide show, showing you some photos of what you may see and observe underwater and also pictures that have been taken whilst diving that day. Look out after dark for shooting stars or sit on the back deck and watch the fish swim in and out of our underwater blue lights.

Day 2: Whitehaven Beach

After breakfast you will be taken to the magnificent Whitehaven Beach where you will be able to explore the beautiful white silica sands of Whitehaven. You will be taken on a short bush walk to the lookout where you will be able to overlook the entire beach and the inlet and view it in its finest glory. This is a picturesque setting and great for photo opportunities.

The evening slide show is great fun as our host would have taken some great photos of guests at the beach and our dive instructors would have captured all the days diving. Summarizing a fun packed day in the Whitsundays.

Day 3: Final Dive and Snorkel

After breakfast it's the final splash at another new dive and snorkel site. It's your last chance to see the amazing under water world of the Whitsunday Islands before we make the journey back to Airlie Beach.

Our crew is passionate about diving and showing guests the underwater world, they will endeavor to take you to the best dive locations the Whitsunday Islands have to offer.

Intro divers just need a sense of adventure. Certified divers please bring certificatication & log books. Beach towel, Hat, sunglasses & sunscreen. Toiletries. BYO alcohol (no glass). All packed in a soft bag. Credit card or cash for scuba diving or merchandise purchases onboard.

Cancellation Policy

All prices are per person in AUD and include GST, National Park and Great Barrier Reef Marine Park entry fees, administration fees, professional skipper and crew, live-aboard accommodation, all meals, fresh linen and use of wet suits and snorkelling equipment. SCUBA Diving is optional and rates payable on board. Our vessels allow guests to bring their own (BYO) alcohol to enjoy responsibly on board at no charge. Our vessels provide bottled water and soft drinks for purchase on board.

Prices are based on multi-share accommodation. Prices do not include air fares or transfers. Cancellations made less than 21 days before departure will result in complete forfeiture of the full ticket price. We reserve the right to substitute vessels without notice at any time for any reason. We recommend you take out travel insurance.

Clients should note that adventure travel involves risk. Whilst we make every effort to safeguard guests, we cannot be responsible for any damage, personal injury or loss due to the actions of passengers that are beyond our control. All cruises are subject to weather and the vessel operator's discretion. At certain times of year 'dangerous' jellyfish inhabit these waters and passengers should take care for their own safety. Passengers entering the water do so at their own risk and the owners or operators of the vessel will not be liable for any personal injury, illness, death or any other consequences whatsoever of passengers being stung by jellyfish.

To minimise this risk you will be provided with a full length protective 'Wet Suit' to wear whilst swimming and snorkelling during the cruise. Whitsundays Sailing Adventures.com and Wings Diving Adventures management, employees and agents are not the owner or operator of any vessel on which any passengers sail. Accordingly, it shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for any injury to person or property which is suffered or sustained by any passenger as a result of participating in any of its sailing adventures, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.

Prices are valid at time of publishing from 1st of June 2010 until 1st of June 2011.
